Want to introduce your little one to the water?
Many children take great pleasure from splashing around in water, whether it be in a bath, paddling pool, swimming pool or in the sea. Visit our pool and you will hear children squealing with delight as they explore a water-world of fun and enjoyment. Swimming can also be a great opportunity for you to spend quality time with your child, meaning you can both enjoy these benefits together.
Parent and Tots are included in the Jam Packed and Aquacize Memberships or you can Pay As You Go.
0-2 years can swim for free or the sessions are included in all membership packages. Not on a membership? You can view our membership options or you can swim with us on a Pay As You Go basis.
Session Availability
Our Parent and Tot sessions are available at Newton Abbot Leisure Centre on the following days and times.
Booking your session
Book now on the Teignbridge Leisure App or on your My Profile Account.
Sessions run for one hour. To make the most of your swim, please arrive at least 5 minutes before the activity start time. Sessions are based on a first come, first served basis.
Sessions are included in the Jam Packed and Aquacize Membership or you can Pay As You Go.
Pay As You Go Adult Members will be charged the Adult Swim (16+) rate. Our Pay As You Go prices are available on our price list.
When to arrive
At least 5 minutes before the activity start time to get yourself booked and paid for at reception.
- We have free centre parking for all users for up to a maximum of three hours.
Please remove footwear before entering the changing facilities and shower before entering the pool.
Changing facilities and lockers are available.
- You can purchase a locker token from reception. Please note, we are only accepting card payments. No cash.
You do not have to book Parent and Tots in advance, this activity is first come first served.

Here's what you need to know about our swim sessions:
- Sessions are booked on a first-come, first-served basis and are available to both members and non-members.
- Sessions are included in the Jam Packed and Aquacize Memberships.
- Sessions are charged per session and at the time of booking (non-members).
- Please remove footwear before entering the changing rooms.
- No footwear on the poolside. Please use the lockers provided.
- Changing rooms, showers and lockers are available.
- Please shower before entering the pool.
- Supervision of children: A responsible adult 16+ may bring 2 children under the age of 8 but only 1 of those children can be under the age of 5. The adult must be in the water with the children at all times.
