Octopush is underwater hockey and is a supreme aerobic game - The game is played globally. Underwater hockey is fast, furious, and fun; your child can join in. Players wear basic equipment of a mask, snorkel, fins, and water polo hat. The players hold a small stick, about the size of a spatula, in a gloved hand. The idea of the game is to use the stick to push the 1.2 kilogramme puck into the opposing team's goal, which consists of a three metre tray at the opposite end of a 25 metre pool.

Dawlish Leisure Centre
Session one is for 8 - 12 years old on a Saturday 12:45 - 1:45 pm This session is for beginners to advanced Octopush players. Participants must be able to swim 50m and be confident in deep water. We provide all the equipment for beginners to trial.
Session two is for 8 - 16 years old on a Saturday 1:45 - 2:45 pm This session is for participants who play Octopush and have their own equipment. It is there to improve their gameplay and skill levels- this session will focus on drills, skills and gameplay.
Session three is for 12 years old plus on a Saturday 2:45 - 3:45 pm This session is for participants older than 12 years of age who play regularly. These sessions will improve their gameplay, skill and overall fitness. They are working on drills, skills and gameplay.
