This Code of Conduct forms part of the Terms and Conditions of your Membership at all Teignbridge Leisure Gyms. It is designed to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of exercise & fitness facilities whilst maintaining the highest levels of health and safety for all users, visitors and employees. Failure to abide by this Code may result in the user being asked to leave the gym facilities. We want to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful experience for all members. To help maintain a positive atmosphere, we ask that you follow our code of conduct:

All fitness suite users must read and understand the Health Commitment Statement.

All fitness suite users must swipe in at the gym or reception.

All fitness suite users must keep their leisure card with them at all times and not be given to other users to use.

Appropriate clean sports clothing and footwear must be worn (No denim or boots)

No baggage is to be brought into the fitness suite. Please use the lockers provided.

Smoking, E-cigarettes or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted.

No food is to be consumed.

All fitness users must wipe down machines before and after use. Please bring a towel.

At peak times the centre has the right to limit the use of cardiovascular equipment to 15 minutes.

Only fitness suite users that have had an induction are permitted to use the fitness suite.

Allow other users to work with you between sets if they are waiting for the same equipment.

Teignbridge Leisure operates a zero tolerance policy for foul and abusive language towards staff or customers.

Report any faults to a member of staff and do not use.

Only use equipment that you have been shown and feel confident to use.

Gym equipment to be used for intended purpose.

Mobile phones can be used for music and fitness apps only, not photography, texting and making calls.

Ensure equipment is put away correctly and not left on the fitness suite floor.

We reserve the right to revoke membership for any violation of this code of conduct. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable gym environment for all members.
