Have Your Say – Active Wellbeing Strategy Consultation
Teignbridge District Council is developing a new Active Wellbeing Strategy to guide how sport, leisure, and physical activity are delivered across the district in the years ahead. We want your views to help shape its priorities.
What is the Active Wellbeing Strategy?
The Strategy will define how the Council and its partners support residents in becoming and staying more active. It will focus on improving long-term physical and mental wellbeing and will consider a broad range of activity spaces including:
-
Coastal areas and green spaces
-
Parks, trails and active travel routes
-
Sports pitches and community venues
-
Schools, clubs and health partners
-
Leisure facilities and outreach programmes
It aims to ensure everyone living, working or visiting Teignbridge can enjoy opportunities to move more and improve their wellbeing.
We are working with SLC, a specialist consultancy, to support engagement and identify future priorities. Collaboration with schools, sports clubs, voluntary groups, health services and the wider community will be key to shaping a shared vision for the district.
We Need Your Input
We want to understand what helps you to be active and what might be stopping you. Your feedback will directly influence the Strategy and future investment in sport, leisure and active wellbeing across Teignbridge.
