Dive into the Fundamentals of Teaching Swimming Techniques
The STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming is the perfect step to begin your exciting career as a swimming teacher and with no previous experience required, you can get started right away. The six-day course comprises theory and practical based learning. Our tutors not only have the theory-based expertise, they have the day-to-day experience with some still teaching within a swim school environment. You will not only leave as a qualified swim teacher but with lots of tips and tricks to support your journey.

You'll need to meet the pre-requisites before attending your course.

Please create a Training Course Attendee account to book your course place.

Once you have your account, please search for 'teaching swimming' in our course search portal for course availability and booking, including price, dates and location.
The full course cost is £345 and full payment is required at the time of booking.

You'll need to make sure you've met the following requirements before you attend your course:

Be at least 16 years of age.

Hold current membership of STA. You can do this on the STA website.
